Fine Arts invigorates my intellect, enriches my mind and soothes my soul. It is, that silent voice that gets a form, shape, color, movement, and sound to acknowledge that I am alive and merges me with the divinity.

Arun Kumar

It has been a delightful journey with SAAC and I am fortunate to be in San Diego and enjoy the Edwin Binney 3rd Collection. “The Great Mysore Bhagavatham” is a special treat as I was born and raised in Mysore and relate to the language, the spiritual and artistic sensibilities of the local Wadiyar dynasty.

Arun is a passionate volunteer teacher at Evidyaloka (www.evidyaloka.org) teaching English, Science, and Life Skills to rural school children of India. Actively involved in Tamahar (a Sanskrit language word for “removing darkness”) (www.tamahar.org) an organization in India working on issues related to differently abled children.

In his spare time, he mentors and assists early stage companies both at CONNECT San Diego and privately focused on technology and life sciences. Worked in high tech domain for last four decades in various capacities. Connoisseur of Fine Arts, Literature, Indian Music and Travel. Avid swimmer.
